How to use Multi-Library

Separate archives for every client. Multi-Library lets you split your work into independent libraries — one per wedding, client, or year — and switch between them without mixing files, ratings, or search results.

What Multi-Library is

Multi-Library gives each project its own self-contained database. Every library has its own files, ratings, smart collections, and search index, so a wedding from last year never pollutes this year's client archive.

Libraries can be exported as a single .flib file for backup or hand-off, and imported again later.

What it is for

Professional photographers juggle many clients and projects. Multi-Library exists so you can keep each one fully separate — its own search, its own ratings, its own statistics — while still working in one app.

How it works

The default library can never be deleted, and you can always switch back to it.

How to use it

  1. Create a new library for a client or project.
  2. Sort, cull, and search inside that library.
  3. Merge it into an archive when the project is done — or keep it separate.
  4. Export it as a .flib file for backup.
