Sorter
Bring order to chaos — automatic folder structure from EXIF data.
Included in Basic
What it does
Every shoot starts the same way: hundreds of files dumped into one folder, sorted by nothing. Sorter reads the EXIF date, camera and lens of each file and files it away into a consistent year → event → camera structure. You drop a folder in, you see exactly where everything will go, and you confirm once.
RAW and JPEG pairs stay together. Photos without a date go to an Unsorted folder instead of disappearing. Duplicates are detected and marked rather than silently doubled. And because the preview is a dry run, nothing moves until you approve it.
For recurring jobs there are presets and custom rules. A wedding shooter can sort by camera, a sport shooter by ISO. Rules import and export as plain text, so your workflow travels with you.
